Aussie Agility ...

About

This website is here to showcase the versatile Australian Shepherd ... beautiful Show dog, fast & accurate Agility Dog, dedicated & energetic working dog...

We own three Aussies .. Eric (3.5yr old), Mac (2 yr old) & Dizzy (14 mths). In our opinion, the perfect breed of dog. (bar the excessive barking !!!!). They are keen to work for you, lovable, intelligent , great with kids, sociable .. with stunning looks.

This is Eric's 3rd year of agility. In year 1 he only did 10 shows; but for Year 2... we bought a caravan & did it properly !!! Between April & August 2009, Eric progressed from Grade 1 to Grade 3, managing 8 wins (5 Agility, 3 Jumping) and amassing around 320 Agility warrant points.

He was awarded top ABC and Top Dog Overall for Cornforth Agility Club in 2009 ; and will be present at the Australian Shepherd UK Club AGM in April to see if he can take more honours for his outstanding season.

Dizzy (Triforce StormRunner) was purchased from the Triforce/Impenzie breeder Ros Timperon in Feb 2009. She was 12 weeks old and earmarked for a career in Agility !

Mad as a hatter, 100 mph and generally crazy, Dizzy has all the hallmarks of a Merle and has been named so aptly !!

Due to hit the agility world in mid June 2010 ; Dizzy has had all the foundation training that Eric & Mac havent.. so she should hit the ground running & prove to be a very fast, efficient & willing agility dog.

Mac was "rescued". He was sold as a show dog, and qualified for Crufts in 2009. His owner decided that his barking was too much for them & returned him to the breeder where he spent a lonely 3 months in their barn.

Tracy picked him up on June 2009 and we began rehabilitating him into the ways of a working Aussie. In the first weeks, he plodded along, knew not how to run nor play and showed no drive...

Eric & Dizzy helped to bring him out of his shell and he soon began to fit in with the Agility way of life.

In his 2nd show - Woodside Xmas Show Dec 2009 - he managed a 2nd place in grade 1 Agility ; then followed this up with a Win in his 3rd Show (Feb 2010). A faster progression than Eric... there's lots of rosettes & placings awaiting Mac in 2010 ....
