Kingdom of Fife Last chance this year to qualify for Olympia ABC.. and we JUST failed !! If I'd kept pole 5 up.. we'd have got 4th place.. enough to qualify! Bums! Other than that, had a good show on the sunday .. a 5th in G3 Agility & 6th in G3 jumping... dad very happy |
K-o-F Been a bit naughty again !! Didnt wait at the start on Saturday... then decided to jump contacts on Sunday !! Got a couple of nice high placings, but mum not happy ! |
K-o-F So near yet so far !! Was 9 seconds ahead of the winner in 1 agility class.. but dropped a pole ! (Eric syndrome !!) Did some lovely runs but just the odd mistake here & there. Got 4 placings.. ALL 5th !!! Mr consistency me !!! Roll on H&H ! |

Finally
a course that was suited to me again!! Thanks Mike Bell (Mum thinks
his collie is an aussie so maybe that’s why the course suited me).
Dad took it easy and I came 7th but if he’d gone for it it
could’ve been more. Had a couple of sprints with Dad which is good
and I’m enjoying this being driven on all the time. Might surprise
the old bugger and win in Grade 3 yet!! Need to start putting more
effort into it cause that little pup and even my little brother are
developing some speed and I cant have them out run me. |
Weardale –
Managed a 2nd on Saturday (less than half a second off first
but decided I was a collie and twizzled after the Aframe - mum not too
impressed). Decided that for all my other runs I’d either break my wait
(hey, it’s teaching mum to work me from behind) or I’d miss my contacts.
Mum was a bit annoyed at me on the Sunday cause I missed all the contacts
in one class. We’re now on contact retraining which I like cause I get
LOTS of treats for running fast and standing 2o2o – easy. Aunty Cat had a
word with Mum and explained that I don’t quite understand the criteria for
stopping on the contacts. I know I need to stop but not exactly where. |
Weardale –
had a strange show this weekend. Managed to have a random pole down
in every class bar the really hard one so no rosettes for me. Loving
this not holding my contacts thing as I’m getting quite a taste for speed.
Dad ran me in a combined and we had a race down the home straight.
Mum got a clear in the 1-5 combined with me which she was chuffed at, I
need to point out to her that if she didn’t forget what side to be on on
several occasions I would’ve
got placed (the crowd could hear her saying “oh shit wrong side” “oh shit
wrong again”).

Otley Tough show! Not many rosettes here as I decided that the hard weave entries were just not for me !!! Cocked them up, mostly ! Managed a clear in the ABC qualifier but didnt get placed !! Never mind, there's always next week !!! Got a 24th in the Combined 3-5 Agility which out of 260 dogs aint bad !!! |
Otley Did Ok, managed to win 2 trophies for mum !!! Got a 2nd in jumping and a 3rd in Agility. Should really have won jumping this weekend but the weaves were causing me a bit of a problem! At least I can now try to win Agility from next week !! |
Otley Almost won out into G3 in the agility, but mum just managed to hold my contacts long enough & we got 2nd place.. 2 secs off first !! Phew.. a close one !! Thank god we can go for it next week !!! |

Tweedbank Hot Hot Hot !!! Dad got a nice sun-tan here !! Lovely venue and the three of us managed to find a swamp in the woods .. which enabled us to go swimming in the river to clean up !!! Some nasty "Hudson" courses in Agility this weekend, but enjoyed the jumping!! Dad says I am too slow & need to speed up. I'll show him !!! |
Tweedy 2nd Show ... and another Agility 2nd place !!! I'm good me !!!! Shame I went a bit mental in the other classes though ! I'm a puppy and its time I ran like one !!! Soz mum, but you have had a glimpse of what I can do..so I now want to have some fun !! I'll be back on track for East Lothian though ! I did perform some lovely "away" work mind.. so got you some positives on Sunday !!! |
Kelso !!!! Now that mum has fixed my weaves (ha ha so she thinks!!) we had an OK show. Had a really really good run in the agility.. but the course was so complex mum didnt want to have a fast clear incase I won!!! Held my contacts for ages & ages.. and came 3rd ! Phew !! The sooner we can run properly for a win the better !!! |

Wilton Hooorrraaayyyyyy ; At Last .. I can do Agility in competition !!!!!!! On my VERY FIRST EVER run, I got a 2nd place in grade 2 Agility .. then in my 2nd run.... a 3rd place in Jumping !!! Dizzy whizzzzzzzzzy Wooo-WOOOOOO. Things got a bit harder in the combined 1-7 courses... but hey, i'm a puppy !!!! Had a great day; a great start to my career.. mummy was well chuffed !!! |
Wilton Had a crap show... mum was spending too much time with that mental puppy so I went in the huff !!! Dad ran me twice and we had two pretty good runs. A nice clear in 1-7 combined agility. Think i'll be his dog from now on.. hmph..... |

Made mums life a misery by missing my weaves a lot !! Soz mum.. but you spend too much time training that escaping merle thing ! managed a 6th in the First Contact Agility Qualifier ... only top 5 get places in next round but I am first reserve !!! Mums fault mind !!!!!! |

Northern Festival of Agility A week in sunny Redcar !! Loads of runs, some training & relaxing on the beach !!
Did quite well in a lot of classes; think we're getting close to some good G3 consistency. Plenty of rosettes and some were even Pink !!!! Enjoyed the beach .. dug some good holes, had a swim or two and covered the caravan in sand !!! Mint !

Had a nice day training midweek.. impressed uncle Nige with my speed and skills !!! I think when I enter the ABC classes, the judges are gonna think I am a Collie .. such is my build & skills !!!!

Ditto !!! Cracking week of competition. Got lots of rosettes (more than Eric even !!) Really enjoyed it, but it was quite tiring and I was flagging by the end of the week.. hope we get some time off soon !!! Decided to muck mum around by missing weaves ... dont think she was too happy. But, lets face it; she doesnt want to let me win ..so I am just making it easier for her by cocking up myself !!!! |

Woodside Show ... Hmmmm ; after the superb consistency of Lincoln, I decided to be a bit naughty at this one !!! Jumped off some contacts & thought it would be funny to go under a Tyre !!! Aunty Eleanor was less than amused at that one !! Weather was nice & I had a cracking run in the Olympia ABC agility. Really quick & accurate. Shame I was E'd at obstacle 3 .. but it looked good for anyone who didnt notice that !! Dad not impressed as it was a "Nigel Staines Free Zone" so we had a small chance to qualify !! Better luck next time !! Soz Dad but it was your fault !! |
May 2nd 2010 Did some nice weaving practive behind marys tent/camper/pop-up thingy !! Still not my turn to compete.. so I just have to walk round looking all cute & lovely - Which I do so well ! |

Probably my best 2-dayer. 6/8 clears. Massive show too, so competing against up to 300 dogs in some classes. Very happy with an Agility 8th place (vs 240 dogs). The venue was lovely but I was disappointed the ice-cream man didnt appear ! |

Hare 'n' Hounds
Easter Washout !!! It was like running in a bog !! Friday was wet, Saturday was cancelled (bugger.. best classes that day.. a pairs and ABC Agility !). Sunday was slippy & Monday not too bad. AT LAST .. I broke into the Grade 3 Top 10 placings for Agility.. dad was very happy..smoked bone's all-round !!

Easter (of Course !!) Look, I am a predominantly white Dog... dont take me out in weather like this .. I become a predominantly mucky dog !! Not much fun to be honest... whish the weather had been better. Didnt even get any Doggy easter eggs ! |

Gleniffer back to this lovely venue.. I was just here in November !!!!!! No weaves cos its indoors .. thais makes the collies go faster !! Couple of clears but only 1 placing (11th in Jumping). Mum & dad enjoyed their posh lunch though in the restaurant !!! |
